Who's behind The Poster Folk?

The Poster Folk is a one-woman business, created and run by me, Susannah from Cardiff.

After my two children started flying the nest, I found myself looking for a new creative adventure that brought people together. The Poster Folk grew from a love of design, travel, colour and the little things that make a house feel like home. 

Every collection is created with real homes in mind and every order means the world to me. Thanks for supporting a small independent business.

Are your designs created using AI?

Some are, yes.

AI is one of several creative tools I use to help develop ideas and artwork. Every AI-assisted design is then carefully redesigned, refined and professionally edited on my Mac before it's ever added to The Poster Folk. Colours, composition, typography and print quality are all checked by hand to ensure every piece meets the standard I'd proudly hang in my own home (and I have plenty adorning my walls...think shoe addiction but in print format!).

Many collections are also created entirely from scratch using traditional digital illustration and design techniques.

The result is original artwork that's crafted with care, not simply generated and uploaded.

How long will my order take to arrive?

Every print is made to order, so we don't keep stock sitting on shelves. This helps reduce waste and means your artwork is printed especially for you.

Most unframed prints arrive within 3–7 working days. Framed prints take a little longer as each frame is made and assembled to order before being carefully packaged for delivery but standard times are consistent globally.

You'll receive tracking details once your order is on its way, and if you ever have any questions, just get in touch. I'm always happy to help.

Can I return or exchange my order?

Because every print is produced just for you, I can't usually accept returns or exchanges if you've simply changed your mind. If you would like to cancel your order within the first 24 hours of buying, please email me theposterfolk@gmail.com and I will do my best to sort this for you.

However, if your order arrives damaged, faulty or there's a problem with the print, please contact me as soon as possible with a few photos of the item and its packaging. I'll always do my best to put things right, whether that's arranging a replacement or another suitable solution.

Can I personalise a print with a name?

Absolutely!

Many of the prints in the Little Folk collection can be personalised with a child's name at no extra cost, making them perfect for nurseries, bedrooms and thoughtful gifts.

If a design can be personalised, you'll find the option on the product page. If you're unsure, just send me a message before ordering.

Do you sell framed prints as well as posters?

Yes. Most designs are available as either unframed prints or professionally framed wall art, ready to hang when they arrive.

Every print is produced on premium matte paper using high-quality printing techniques to give crisp detail, rich colour and a finish that's made to be enjoyed for years to come.  Sustainable FSC-certified materials or equivalent.

Finally...

What are your frames made from?

Ordering with your print already framed makes displaying quick and easy.

Instead of traditional glass, we use premium clear acrylic (often called plexiglass or Perspex®). It offers the same crystal-clear appearance as glass but is much lighter, far more shatter-resistant and much safer during shipping.

If you would prefer real glass glazing, that's no problem. As this requires a bespoke frame and specialist delivery, I can provide a custom quotation—just get in touch before placing your order and I'll be happy to help.
